A completely unexpected situation has made this decision
absolutely necessary. We’re sorry in advance for the
inconvenience and disappointment that this decision will
undoubtedly bring to numerous friends, loyal supporters and

“Super hot weather and hardly any rain for our 2009
Texas summer is a major cause to blame for this. At some
points, the Guadalupe River has even been shut down due
to the effects of our extreme drought this year. None
the less and as reported to me directly, many of you
Tube Fest goers' have been hitting the Comal or floating
the Guadalupe at sporadic intervals throughout the
summer. I’d also like to just say Thanks to everyone who
has inquired about Tube Fest 2009, expressed their
concern, and personally invited me to float the rivers
this season! Unfortunately I’ve been unable to join
anyone on the rivers this year due to a completely
unexpected situation that I currently have to deal with.
Regardless, have fun on the river if you haven’t already
and as always, be safe! Thanks for your support and
understanding!”
